Ryan has a long standing passion for all aspects of the fitness lifestyle.
During his junior years he was trained by the British Olympic Association Gymnastic Coaches at the Benjamin Britten High School Lowestoft.
Whilst in his teens Ryan was coached by Mrs Berry Moffat, a former tennis
coach responsible for identifying and developing talented individuals such
as former British Number one Sue Barker. He took part in various Devon
based competitions in his teens and continued to pursue his passion by competing in league doubles competitions in the Exeter area over the following years.
Ryan is Exeters premier kettlebell instructor and the founder of The Exeter Kettlebell Club which is based at the Temple Gates Studio, Martial Arts & Fitness UK, 1 West Street, Exeter, EX1 1BB and holds classes at the venue but also operates 2 satellite classes in Exminster & 2 MMA specific classes also in Exeter.
Ryan is a member of the Quay Climbing Centre in Exeter & Dartrock Climbing Centre in Buckfastleigh, Devon. He feels that everyone could benefit from indoor climbing as it acts as a great conditioning tool & can also aid you in mentally overcoming obstacles in life. A simple metaphor but very true.
He has a Level 1 Sailing Certificate and has represented a national
organisation in the Care International Challenge – a one day, four event challenge in the Lake District. As well as training regularly, he also enjoys mountain biking, tennis and golf.
Having attained his Diploma in Personal Training at the David Lloyd Centre in Bristol, Ryan continues to adhere to their ethos, empowering clients to achieve and succeed.
Ryan has gained a diverse breadth of experience from his former professional working life, enabling him to empathise with clients from all backgrounds
and walks of life. His down to earth attitude and interest in improving people’s lifestyles and body condition has led him to what he regards, as his calling
in life as a personal trainer and lifestyle consultant.
